Thank you
Almost everything worth fixing in DrawNet.ai was found by someone using it. If you have sent a bug report or an idea through the 🐛💡 Bug or Idea button — thank you. We read every one, and as the entries below show, it is usually what decides what gets built next.
Labels
A text label can now follow the device it describes, so moving the device no longer leaves it behind.
🙏 Suggested by Marco.
Help
A new FAQ answers the questions people ask most — telling SFP ports from Ethernet ones among them — some with a short video.
🙏 Reported by a user.
Room
A room can now have its real size and shape, so the plan shows what actually fits.
Room
Lay the racks out on the floor, in rows, with their hot and cold aisles — or open the sample data centre, in Templates, to see every view filled in.
AI
Generate with AI can add to a diagram already drawn — new devices, or cables between the ones that are there — instead of replacing it.
🙏 Reported by a user.
About the credits above
The credits name what somebody reported, not who reported it. The feedback form has never asked for a name or an email — it collects the report and nothing else — so there is no one to name for anything sent before today, and publishing a name that was never given would not be right in any case.
From now on the form has an optional "Name to credit" field. Fill it in and your name appears next to whatever your report changes on this page. Leave it empty and nothing changes — the report is just as welcome, and the credit stays anonymous.
